BEM SI gelar aksi di depan DPR pada Kamis petang

Sejumlah massa aksi dari BEM SI menggelar aksi di depan Gedung DPR/MPR RI Jakarta, Kamis (4/9/2025). ANTARA/Khaerul Izan/am.

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Ratusan mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Seluruh Indonesia (BEM SI) akhirnya tiba dan menggelar aksi unjuk rasa di depan Gedung DPR/MPR pada Kamis petang.

Dalam aksinya kali ini, mereka membawa 13 tuntutan yang ingin disampaikan kepada wakil rakyat melalui mimbar orasi di depan Gedung DPR/MPR.

Ratusan mahasiswa tersebut datang sekitar pukul 16.30 WIB dengan mengenakan jaket almamater dari kampusnya masing-masing.

Seorang perwakilan mahasiswa yang melakukan orasi menyebutkan 10 orang meninggal dunia akibat kericuhan yang terjadi di berbagai daerah beberapa hari belakangan.

Ia menyatakan, para mahasiswa hadir bukan untuk merusak fasilitas umum. Para mahasiswa turun ke jalan untuk menyuarakan aspirasi masyarakat.

Berikut 13 tuntutan yang dibawa mahasiswa dengan tajuk "Selamatkan Indonesia", di antaranya turunkan tunjangan DPR sekarang juga dan hentikan gaya hidup mewah di atas penderitaan rakyat.

Selain itu sahkan RUU Perampasan Aset, tangkap, rampas dan adili semua harta koruptor. Reformasi total Polri dan DPR, bersihkan dari mafia, bubarkan kartel kekuasaan serta wujudkan institusi yang benar-benar pro rakyat.

Selain itu mereka juga meminta pembebasan segera kawan-kawannya yang ditahan serta stop kriminalisasi gerakan mahasiswa dan rakyat.

Mereka juga mengecam keras tindak represif aparat, hentikan pemukulan, hentikan gas air mata serta hentikan peluru tajam terhadap rakyat.

Sebelumnya, massa aksi yang dijadwalkan datang pukul 13.00 WIB hingga pukul 16.00 WIB belum juga tampak di kawasan Gedung DPR/MPR.
